Nanny- Part II

We found a nanny--yippee! One of my relatives met her at church and told her about us. She is Indonesian, in her early 50's, and been in the US for about 2 years. She speaks English (yay..David can actually communicate with her :)). She lives here with her daughter, son-in-law, and grandson about 15 minutes away from our house. So far...

1) It's Day 3 and she has not told me that she wanted to quit
2) She doesn't hold Wes like a sack of potatoes
3) She remembers our kids' names (GREAT SIGN!)
4) Kayleen hasn't warmed up to her yet but at least she doesn't yell "Mommy, please help, Mommy" when she's around
5) She doesn't have a strong preference for 409 as the cleaner of choice
6) She is not ssslllooowwww...... She is calm (which is good for my "sometimes" high-strung tendency) but she is efficient
7) She doesn't have BO. In fact, unlike the other nannies, she truly "gets" that she shouldn't use perfume, wear scratchy clothing, or wear jewelries when she is working (all of which are NOT recommended when you work with babies!)

Basically, so far so good :)
